Jo Kim is an artist based in Austin, Texas, working across installation, print, sculpture, and sound. Their practice examines the poetics of acoustics in relation to space and body, often posing questions like: What does it mean to feel and see sound? How do objects perform? What if sculpture did not just depict bodies but rather imitated them, even longed for them? Ultimately, their practice seeks to question how sound and space can reshape our experience through poetic reconsideration, reimagining architectural elements and overlooked infrastructures as resonant sites that transform vibration, silence, and noise into spatial and visual encounters.

Jo holds BA Fine Arts from Central Saint Martins, University of Arts London and is currently part of MFA Studio Art in University of Texas at Austin.
